Saturday Evening with Friends

Yesterday was such a beautiful day and I wanted to share a part of it with everyone.  Tricia and I both took time from our busy schedule to be away from the store.  I went to Red Wing to spend the evening with friends from design school, which was a few years ago now.  But nonetheless, we keep in touch and spend an evening together when we can. 

We met up at Shannan's store in Red Wing, Moments on Main.  Friday evening was the big Holiday open house  but she extended an invitation to us as well.  Her shop is filled with the Christmas spirit.  Everywhere you looked there are wonderful gift items, jewelery, candles, napkins, home decorating ideas, spa items and so much more.  I managed to come home with a few treasures, and a Christmas gift.

Now We're Ready - to open the Shop and Experience Anoka's Home Town Halloween Festivities

Sometimes I am amazed at how the Shop comes together in getting ready to open the doors.  Two sisters working together, usually on the same page with ideas, grouping, rearranging, hanging pictures, even getting the floor swept.  We hope you'll come and enjoy the Shop and all the wonderful and exciting shopping opportunities there are here in Anoka!  We are open TODAY, Thursday Oct. 27.

Halloween in Anoka - that means Fall has definitely arrived.

Sunday Morning, and the weather is cool.  Good morning everyone!  I thought I'd share a few photos of last night's Light up the Night Parade in Anoka.  We really do have such fun here.  It's a great City.  These pictures were taken at Avant Garden as everyone patiently waited for their drinks.

Update on October Market

I want to share the fun we had at our October Market.  It was a whirlwind of activity - Fabulous Style Show - bake sale and everyone seemed to be having such a wonderful time.  A special Thank You to everyone who visited Paddywac's and particularly those that volunteered their time to make it such a successful weekend.

Stacy from Ramshackled Treasures and her good friend visited us for the style show and couldn't resist getting an animal print neck scarf.  You both look great!

Market Day at Paddywac's in Anoka

Good morning!  It's going to be a busy day.  We open at 10:00 a.m., a bake sale to support Breast Cancer Research starts around 2:00, AND a Style Show, presented by La Dee Da Design.  I hope you're ready for the fun.  We sure are and we can't wait to see everyone!

A Special Paddywac's Invitation to Come to Anoka - Thursday Special Event - Style Show

Come to Anoka.  Now days there are many places you could shop, but there is a special feeling you get when you shop in a small town.  Unique quaint shops, tons of variety, antiques, ice cream, a fabulous little coffee shop to rest and have lunch.  The list is endless.  There will even be a very uptown Style Show presented by La Dee Da Design on Thursday evening at 6:30 at Paddywac's.  It's GNO (Girls Night Out) in Anoka on Thursday and the hospitality can't be beat.  Please come and experience that great "home town" feel Anoka has to offer, but, of course, you'll want to start at Paddywac's!
